Artist Development and recording demos at RSA's professional Pro-Tools Studio is also available. We can help take you step by step from the beginning to gigging! Although there are never any promises in the music industry, we can supply you with the tools you need to at least get your music heard and the rest is up to you!

Rising Star Academy joins LA Dance Center
Specializing in Pop and Rock Voice, Guitar and Piano!
Rising Star Academy is a complete vocal development center for artists. Besides offering contemporary education for the vocalist and instrumental artist, we offer management, booking and recording studio time. An artist learns techniques in commercial vocal style, intrumental performance, songwriting, stage presentation (body movement and speech), and technical aspects of studio recording (pre-amp choices, mic usage, etc.). Additionally, eligible artists are booked on gigs at verious venues, festivals, and studio sessions thereby enhancing the vocalists performance skills.
No cookie cutter approach here at the Rising Star Academy! Each performer is encoraged to find their own individual style and sound then we build on that. Our greatest goal is to educate our singers about the music industry so they may choose the best path to take.
Beginning students launch their training with micro group study of the vocal instrument. They sing with peers their age and learn the art of commercial voice in weekly lessons. Those preferring private study audition with one of our vocal coaches who evaluate artists based on harmony, scat, and register skills. Those who desire private coaching with Shaun Royer must have professional vocal skills and a desire to pursue a career in music. Any artist may call our offices to discuss the best option for their skill level and goals.
Classes are taught by Shaun Royer, one of todays leading vocal coaches and choreographers nationwide.
PRIVATE VOCAL AND RECORDING LESSONS: Call for rates. Lessons available for all levels of ability. To work with Shaun Royer the student must have professional vocal skills and desire to pursue a career in music.

The Rising Star Academy is proud to introduce Shaun (Dante') Royer !
Shaun Royer is one of todays leading directors, choreographers and vocal coaches nationwide. His role is to develop young talent through voice, acting and musical training, as well as through physical conditioning. Danté has worked with some of the entertainment industry’s hottest stars and upcoming hopefuls. Royer says, “It’s rare that I can watch T.V. or see a Broadway Show without seeing one of my former students acting, singing, or dancing; and this makes me proud”.
Danté is the founder of the Rising Arts Center, former choreographer for the Texas Ballet Concerto, former co-director and choreographer of Arts in Motion and has taught at The Edge in Los Angeles, as well as at Broadway Dance Center (NYC); Professional Performing Arts School (NYC); Harvard University (Cambridge, MA); Our Lady of the Lake University (San Antonio); and Trinity University (San Antonio).
He launched his own label of dance and exercise apparel, “Inferno Gear”. He recently directed and choreographed Princess Cruise Line’s new “Motor City” show and continues to develop and manage the tween national recording group, Savvy (www.savvymusic.biz).
He is also on staff for Dancer's Inc national conventions. Danté has toured with the Body Control Dance Company, Cats, Big River and has worked with artists such as Justin Timberlake, TLC, Nell Carter, Harry Connick Jr., Hillary Duff, Britney Spears, Christine Aguilera, Aaron Carter, Hype, Alicia Keyes, Rebecca Valadez, and Savvy.
